Cubs get Carlos Pena. 1 year $10 million. Sounds pretty good to me. (Whoa, Hendry actually made a good move! What's next? The Yankees finish in last place?)

Crawford to the Red Sox shocked me

I heard a lot of people complaining about the Red Sox spending so much money but remember that was the only F/A they got, Gonzalez was through a TRADE

Damn Bankees...

Ditto

Pena Deal, One year is too short a time, I would of gone for three at least, but that's the best move Hendry has made......ever.

Crawford deal, The Red Sox are gonna kill this year. Here's there positional outlook, pending injuries.

C-Varitek
1B-A-Gon
2B- Pedroia
3B-Youk
SS-Scutaro
LF-Crawford
CF-Jacobye
RF-Drew

Can you say, RING?

Wow. We are going to be awesome this year.

Also, I think Saltalamacchia is the starting catcher. Am I wrong?

Yeah, Varitek is too old.

The defense doesn't seem so good, but the offense is solid. How about the pitching?

Varitek/Salty are platooning I think, with Salty being used more. But I heard the Red Sox will go after Russell Martin too, so having him is an upgrade over both and would be awesome

Pitching is actually bad

SP- Lester : The only guy I really can trust going into next year
SP- Buchholz : If he does what he did last year then sick
SP- Beckett : Please rebound
SP- Lackey : Please rebound
SP- Dice-K : Ugh

Bullpen: awful

You don't know what you'll get from the rotation but it has good potential. Theo's going to get bullpen help at some point, if not then he's high

Giants.
2010 World Series Champs.
Full rotation is returning for 2011.

That is all.

What do you know, apparently the Giants did win the World Series.

The defense might be better than you think:

C - *Martin (avg but declining)
1B - A-Gone (slightly above avg)
2B - Pedroia (above avg)
3B - Youk (avg last time he played 3B, could go either way)
SS - Scutaro (avg but declining)
LF - Crawford (best LF in baseball, but a good chuck of his range will be negated by Fenway's small LF zone - he and Drew should flip/flop)
CF - Ellsbury (bad, maybe he and Crawford should be the ones flip/flopping)
RF - Drew (above avg when healthy)

*Deal not complete.

Why didn't we see this coming? It makes perfect sense. He has played for them before, their good, and he'd be a ace. Don't forget the $$$$ too!
