Finished playing through Paper Mario again. The ending is always such a sad feeling when I know that I'll never feel the same way about another game as I do with Paper Mario... Ah well...

Speaking of which, I may continue my really old Paper Mario playthrough I started on YouTube a while back, this summer. It won't be the same save file, I'll just play unrecorded until I hit about the same spot, then start recording again. It's about time I continued it anyway, I mean, last video was what?... Yeah, August 2008 upload date... That's quite a gap there. It'll probably be pretty odd to restart it, I mean, I won't even have the same voice as back then, you can even check it out, my Paper Mario videos compared to something newer, the voice difference is quite noticeable. Whatever, it's better to just finish with it anyway.

I might just go for getting a bunch of commentary done over the summer. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, MLBPP '08 Success Mode, I actually have a full run of Mario Superstar Baseball's challenge mode already recorded as well, just needs commentary...

Looking at things now, though, the only subscriber I have that actually followed my videos seems to have had their channel deleted or something. That's not exactly encouraging. Well, maybe if I do another 5 complete playthroughs I can get another subscriber to replace him.

2112 posts. Easily the best post count I’ve ever had and ever will have. I’d leave my post count there forever if I could, but you know me, I have things to say, oh such significant and important things. I’ll be doing the most obvious thing imaginable to celebrate this accomplishment, listening to 2112, which will easily be the best 20 minutes or so of the whole day. Why should you listen to it? I believe the better question would be why not, especially now. Most of you are but mere children with vacation all summer and not much to do, you’d probably have well over 12 hours a day of free time, next to all that free time, 20 minutes is nothing. Also, don’t play the song in the background of whatever you were going to be doing anyway, it isn’t worth it, this is music, not background noise. It doesn’t work as background noise, you’ll have to trust me on that, I put it on the soundtrack of a hockey game once and it was a terrible decision.

Now to look at the band that plays the song. Rush is easily one of the more popular bands of all time, and listing awards and things they’ve won would take far too long and wouldn’t really be worth all the time. Their drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart, is one of the most well known drummers of all time, and is generally acknowledged to be the best drummer of all time. His lyrics divide opinions, as he’s done lyrics based on so many different things over the years; some consider him to be one of the best lyricists, while others consider him one of the worst. Speaking personally, I’ve seen hundreds of movies that had plots that couldn’t compare to the plot detailed in 2112. Geddy Lee plays vocals and bass, the opinion on his vocals are as divided as the opinions on Peart’s lyrics, sometimes being a point of criticism. His ability at bass never is though, as an award winning musician who can also play some other parts of instruments at the same time. Alex Lifeson, playing guitar, has won numerous awards just like the rest of the band.

I tried listening to the song, but I got bored after about 5 minutes of just listening. I had to turn it into background noise after that

And yes that is really how I feel. I love Rush and I love the whole progressive rock/metal genre.
