I've already been to a dance with one of my (insert term about a girl who you're friends with, but isn't quite your girlfriend)s, and it was fun. The thing was, she was originally going with some of her friends, and we only danced together for a couple minutes tops, so that was kind of a wash.

The way prom is portrayed in popular culture, I would definitely go. I'd much rather just skip to the end, though.

Well, I mean, obviously, you don't HAVE to. But, it's generally considered odd if you don't.

I think the real initiation to this forum should be staying home from prom and playing Power Pros. Or taking a cardboard cut out of one of the girls as your date.

One of my lovely British internet friends said that the best part of his prom was when he made out with the girl he liked, but they were half drunk so he said it doesn't count but I digress. I'll definitely go to prom though

I'm definitely gonna go to prom. And the end result will NOT be a girl taking the walk of shame out of my house. Plus the fact that my parent's room is technically in my room, just through another doorway. Abstinence FTW!

Yeah. It is a weird house design. Given that it was a 2-story house built in the late 60's-early 70's or so...yeah. They keep trying to move me over to our extra bedroom, which is right down the hall, but doing that is a challenge in and of itself.

Anyways, class schedules for my school don't come out for another few weeks or so. Can't wait for this year to begin. Class of 2013, baby! Gonna be legen-wait for it-dary!
