I enjoy playing pretty much every sport at least as a pick-up sport or in gym class, just some more than others.

I got in one of the ugliest arguements ever with a kid over football and rugby. His only two arguements against football were "nothing happens in football" and "football is a copy off rugby except for they added sissy pads." He also said that people die in rugby. I hope he knows that people have died in NASCAR too so it doesn't make it a good sport. I now have very little respect for that kid.

I'm pretty insulted by this guy because a student at my High School DID die on the football field of a traumatic brain injury. You can read more here: http://www.matthewgfellerfoundation.org/ . Pretty sad story for our community, his locker still has his helmet and jersey inside it in the locker room at our gym. Coolest part about this story: The first day of school of that year (the game was played before school started), a rainbow appeared, ending at the historic Auditorium on campus.

I woke up at 6:45 to go to school today, and went upstairs to eat breakfast like normal. Then, I went back down to my room to get dressed, and laid down on my bed. I was super tired, and I fell asleep, around 6:55. I woke up at 7:40 (THANK GOD!), and got dressed, brushed my teeth, and got my contacts in my eyes in 5 minutes. I then draped my coat on, grabbed my bag, and zipped it shut on the run, then hopped into my sisters car, and we left at out normal time(just a little later). Good thing I showered last night, after my haircut! I was stressed out all day at school from that. I was close to missing school.

Oh yeah, the kid who I got into the football argument with got suspended from student council for two weeks for missing meetings. He could get banned. That would be such an epic fail because NOBODY gets banned from student council. He would live in such infamy if that happens.

I know. Kids at my school were trying to compare it to the LeBron situation, but it's nothing like it. First, LeBron made a huge desicion show. Pujols didn't. Second, LeBron took less money for less years to go to from a team that was going nowhere to a championship team and Pujols took more money for more years to go from the World Series champions to second place in MLB's worst division. Not saying the Halos won't be contenders this year.

*goes to play Rock Band*

I should take up real drums, see how I do. I have a feeling it would either be totally different or it would take just a little transition to kick some ass.

I actually started playing drums from Guitar Hero.

It taught me all the wrong techniques, but now I'm really good.

I mean, I can play songs like Manic Depression, I Fought The Law, and Lost In The Supermarket on Expert pretty well (other than the outro for Manic Depression, which I still pass mind you), and just now nearly got through I Can See For Miles (that damn outro killed me).

But that's virtual drums.

But I have rhythm and some sort of drumming skills, evidently.

I dunno.

I learned I had rhythm when I actually started playing the game well.

I pass everything on expert now getting 4 or 5 stars, and now I can play most of them on real drums.
