I just downloaded two more Clash albums, leaving me just without Sandinista (which I may download, though I'm not sure about how wide the range of music is on it) and the final album, because the final album of The Clash isn't really true Clash. xD

But yeah. Complete Control = greeeeat song. Though the same can be said for a looooot of other songs of theirs.

I almost got London Calling at the R&R Hall of Fame. But then, I didn't.

Aww... such an amazing album. There's not a single song on that album I can't listen to because I don't like it.

I'm kinda sad I didn't buy it now. My dad would've paid for it...it was just a lot of money.

I also almost got Pearl Jam's Vitalogy on vinyl. But then I saw the price tag.

Thoughts on last night:

1. We just witnessed the two greatest September Collapses since the Twin Towers. Yes, I coined that myself.

2. How fitting that Crawford, being an ex-Ray who sold his soul to the Red Sox for cash, would be the one to seal the Red Sox defeat.

3. Why do people still take pity on the Red Sox and bring up Bill Buckner and the Curse of the Bambino years? They've won the World Series twice in the past decade and they have the second highest payroll in baseball, enough is enough...

4. No one dares mention the possibility of the Yankees throwing the game against the Rays, just to eliminate their archnemesis from Beantown... That just wouldn't be fair, yes?

5. The Astros have had a huge influence on this NL Playoffs, despite being the worst team in the league. They lost to the Cards to give them their much-needed win, tying the Braves, Hunter Pence singled to kill the Braves, Berkman carried the Cardinals on his back the first few months of the season, after being rejected by the 'Stros, and let's not forget that Bourn was on the lackadaisical Braves, and the Phillies have everyone H-Towners liked on the Astros c. 2005-ish roster.

6. Anyone know how many Rays "fans" actually cared about the drama their team was wrapped up in last night?

I'm actually almost certain they lost that game on purpose.

The best case scenario of the playoffs in my mind, is the Yankees and Rays making it past the first round. Having the Rays then eliminate the Yankees, making them pay for their decision (I mean, if they really chose to do it, it was a pretty stupid move, anyone could beat the Red Sox the way they were playing), and then having the Rays eliminated.

I wouldn't put it past the Yankees to do that.

I agree with cooldude. Why wouldn't the Yankees put in Mariano? They weren't even playing smart (that play at third when he got tagged out, for example).

It's disgraceful if they actually did throw the game.

And now I'm in baseball hell for rooting for them, even though it was only briefly.
