Hmm...let's go with...Level Up Knuckleball.

I practiced my knuckleball, preparing for our first game tomorrow, against the Fielding Wizards.

I warmed up before the game with Sheldon. He hadn't been promised a chance to play though, and wasn't nervous at all.
"C'mon chief, loosen up. You'll at least get to play!" He tells me.
"I'll try." I say. Once I get loose, I start to feel a little better.

The 6th inning comes around, and we're down by 1, 1-0. Josh gets pulled out, and I go in! I get 2 strikes on my first batter. There's a runner on first, and 1 out.

Blow by him with a fastball
Throw him off-speed with a changeup

Tricky knuckleball.

I tossed in a knuckle-ball, and the batter swung early, grounding to shortstop for an inning ending double play.
"See chief?" Sheldon says. "Nothing to be nervous about."
I go on pitching well, until I leave a changeup a little high in the 7th inning, and the batter gets a double, with only 1 out. The next batter is the #4 batter. He takes the count full, and keeps fouling off pitches. He is one of the only players on the team that can actually hit.

I threw the giant kid a changeup to try to get him to ground out, and he totally whiffed. I was really feeling it then, and struck out 4 more batters, for a total of 5 on the game. We also got a 2 runs, and I was credited for the win in my first game! It was really a great feeling.

Alright, none of these games have been updated for a while, so I'll just throw in a practice session.

After my great game, I head to practice the next day. Coach is pretty impressed, and has me warm up with Josh. We're becoming pretty good friends.
"Don't forget about me, Chief!" Sheldon says as we warm up side by side.
"How could I with you always talking?" I reply.

DECISION TIME!

Speed(1 practices level up top speed)
Breaking Ball(learn new pitch-1 practices / level up pitch-1 practices)
Control(+8 control)
Stamina(+6 stamina)

This practice doubles everything, because Josh is cool like that. Or, in some cases, makes it only one practice to level up and learn new.

Oh yeah. Choose wisely!

I stayed after to develop my knuckleball more. The coach seemed impressed with my work ethic.

I went to practice the next day, and started to prepare to pitch against the big hitting Powerful Sluggers. I had heard from the scouting report that they crushed fastballs, but struggled against breaking balls.
