I follow it, and respond after most posts. A lot of people read logs, but don't post anything. It really annoys me too, that's why I tried to post a lot here, since I liked it so much and didn't want you to quit. :) Keep it going.

Yeah, I'm following. But Brewers is right, no one really posts in logs except for the postseason or after a very good game.

Ah, I see. And I appreciate all the posts, Brewers.

Yet Another Melonheads Victory
The Humongous Melonheads appear to be unstoppable, winning their 3rd straight game and dominating the league at 6-1. Ace Angela Delvecchio, who is second in the league in E.R.A. at 1.68, got her third win Tuesday night, throwing 8 innings and only allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The end of the order struggled, going 0 for 12, but Pete Wheeler picked them up with 2 triples and a home run in 4 at-bats. Also hitting home runs were Pablo Sanchez and Kiesha Phillips, each getting their 3rd of the season. Tonight, the Melonheads will face off against the White Rockets at Parks Dept. Field #2.

Who did you play that game? It's kinda hard to be bad at a Backyard game after a few games. :)

Unstoppable!
Once again, the Humongous Melonheads have won, beating the White Rockets 3 to 0 for their 7th win of the season. Kenny Kawaguchi pitched one of his best games of the season, getting a no-decision despite throwing 6 shutout innings. Pete Wheeler came in in relief and threw a couple innings to record the win as 3 runs were scored in the top of the 9th, thanks to doubles by Kiesha Phillips and Achmed Khan. Amir Khan picked up the save. Tonight, the Melonheads play the Mighty Hornets, who they beat 9-1 in their first game of the season.

Melonheads Blow Away Hornets Once Again
With a final score of 8 to 0, the Humongouse Melonheads take their second victory of the year over the Mighty Hornets. Everyone got at least one hit, totalling 16 as a team. Angela Delvecchio remains outstanding, earning her 4th win of the season while throwing 8 shutout innings and striking out 9. In addition to her strong pitching outing, Delvecchio hit a two run home run that sparked the Melonheads offense to score 5 in the 3rd and 4th innings. With an 8-run lead, Tony Delvecchio got his first (and probably last) pitching appearance of the season. Offensive notables include Pablo Sanchez, Pete Wheeler, Angela and Tony Delvecchio, and Stephanie Morgan, who hit her first home run of the season in the bottom of the 8th.

Go Melonheads! Like I said before, it's hard to lose at backyard games unless you don't try.

Melonheads Blow It in the 9th
The Humongous Melonheads lost, for the second time, to the Red Giants, who are the only team that have managed to beat them all year. Kenny Kawaguchi pitched incredibly, throwing 8 shutout innings with 12 strikeouts, a career high for him. Then, in the top of the ninth, the Melonheads brought around the first run home of the game. Then another. With a 2-0 lead heading into the bottom of the inning, it looked as though they had it in the bag. With Pablo Sanchez on the mound, the Giants led off with a single. Then a stolen base. Then a ground ball to third looked like what should have been the first out, but Tony Delvecchio threw it way past Achmed Khan it first. The ball went out of play, bringing home a run and advancing the hitter to second. Pablo recovered and struck out the next batter, and it looked like he might get out of it. But then a drive. Deep to right-center field. Over the fence. Gone.

Final Score: Giants - 3, Melonheads - 2.

27.
27 up. 27 down. 27 runs.
Undefeated Melonheads ace Angela Delvecchio faced 27 batters, and got 27 batters out. That's right. A perfect game. Not only was the pitching incredible, but the Humongous Melonheads scored 27 runs, the second highest total ever by a BBL team, the most being 34 by the Red Giants in 2006. The Crazy Bombers couldn't get anything going, despite that Delvecchio only struck out 4. Offensive notables include: Everyone, but perhaps the most notable was Tony Delvecchio, who smashed 3 homers and drove in an incredible 8 runs. The 9-2 Melonheads face off againts the 2nd place Blue Monsters, for the first time this season, tonight.

Nice. 27-0 no hit win. How did you manage to do that? Did you turn down the difficulty?

Belive it or not, no. The game doesn't let you change the difficulty once the first game starts, and it's been on hard the whole time. I don't really know how that even happened. The Bombers made 4 errors, and their outfielders were pretty slow, which helps fly balls that would be easily caught by Pete Wheeler to drop down. As for the perfect game part of it, Angela IS the best pitcher in the game. Her slowball, right hook, and left hook all have what I think is the best control possible, and her fastball isn't that bad either. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I threw at least a shutout, and we didn't have any errors. Another thing, 15 of my runs were scored in the first 2 innings, and the fielders really do get tired after a bit of running around. There were 2 or 3 times that I threw people out at first from the outfield.
