Whose line is it anyway? My current favorite show. Does anyone else like this?

I love this show! I take credit for introducing the show to ppfan31. :P

Yes, you did

But another good show that I just found out about is actually a science fiction show from the UK, called Doctor Who. Now I've only seen one episode (a special, 2 part, 2 hour special) and it was great! The acting was fantastic and the story was equally as good, it actually made me sad at one point. And another cool thing abot Doctor Who is that it's been around since the 60's, I think. And the way that that is possible is that when the Doctor dies in the show, he regenerates his whole body into someone who looks different and has a different personality (which means someone else starts to play him). I recommend this show, it is very good. The episode I saw was "The End of Time"

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, the Doctor can travel through time in an old police box.
It may sound cheesy but it actually isn't.

I just checked that out, and it was great! Thanks for introducing this, I'm sure I'll be able to get into this series. :D

Doctor Who is one of the best sci-fi shows that ever lived. It might be one of the best shows outright.

Also, who here likes The Twilight Zone?

I like both the 60s and the current ones, but the 60s are WAY better. Rod Serling is one of the most epic people that ever lived. One of my favorite TV series of all time. The ride a Disney World is amazing too.

+1.

It's not enough that the show itself is epic, they have to add an epic host to the mix too!

Anyways, anyone here like game shows? Jeopardy and The Price is Right are my faves.

Russian Roulette was a great game show. It was only on GSN at 4 in the morning, probably isn't on anymore, but great nonetheless...

As far as TV goes, I love the Colbert Report and the Daily Show. the Repor(t) is better. :)

I prefer the Daily Show truthfully, but I love both. They're where I get all my news, can't trust the other stations and their biases
Oh, and I'm going to the Rally to Restore Sanity!

You are lucky. I'm just too far away. Enjoy. By the way, what'd you think of Colbert testifying in Congress?

I thought it was an interesting decision... the shame is that even though he was trying to bring them to action on the issue, all people could focus on was that he was a comedian who was testifying in character. The media AND Congress completely missed the point, and it's just sad. Really doesn't give one faith in their government...

Crap, how did I forget this? Afternoons after school at grandma's house. Flip on Nickelodeon GAS. It was LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQBxHdsE434
