I'm hooked on football right now, not baseball, so I'm gonna play a football game instead of a baseball game. Gonna go play in about 5 minutes. Glad you like it!

Buffalo Bills (0-2) @ Green Bay Packers (2-0)

9-19-09- The Packers easily beat the Bills, today, backed behind strong D and offense. The Bills went 3 and out on their first drive, and the Packers seized the opportunity by scoring on a 7 yard pass from Rodgers to Finley. Lindell got the Bills' their only points on a 40 yard field goal in the second. The Packers bounced right back though, scoring on a 56 yard pass from Rodgers to Driver, making the score 14-3. Crosby netted his first field goal on the next drive for the Packers, making it 17-3. Lindell missed from 52 yards though, and the Packers showed off their kicking game again, as Crosby makes another field goal, this time from 26 yards, making it 20-3. The defense tightened after that, and nobody scored another point. Next week they play in Chicago for their first divisional game.

Green Bay Packers (3-0) @ Chicago Bears (1-2)

9-27-10- The Packers defeated the Bears in a tough back and forth battle last night on Monday Night Football. The Packers kicked off to the Bears to start the game, and the Bears drove down and cashed in on a 34 yd. field goal, to make it 0-3. On the Packers' first drive, Rodgers and Grant drove the team steadily down the field, with a good run/pass balance. Then, Rodgers connected on a 32 yard pass to Greg Jennings, to put the Pack on top, 7-3. In the beginning of the second quarter, Crosby netted a 24 yd. field goal, to make it 10-3. The Bears rallied though, with an 80 yard touchdown pass from Cutler to Knox, and then Cutler threw another TD pass to Olsen, to put the Bears ahead 17-10 at half. The Packers came out firing on the opening drive, and scored on a 15 yard pass from Rodgers to Finley, to tie it up at 17-17. The Bears answered quickly, as Cutler threw another 80 yard TD, this time to Hester. The Packers got down to business then, driving down and scoring on a 10 yard pass from Rodgers to Grant, and tying the game. Then, Crosby nailed a 27 yd. field goal at the 2:00 minute warning, to give the Packers a slim 27-24 lead, and to give the Bears the ball. The Packers D was put to the test, and Nick Collins picked a pass with 1:37 left, but FUMBLED on the return. The defense tightened though, and got the Bears into a 4th and 4 with 1:23 left, but committed to the run, and were passed on, to give the Bears a fresh set of downs. Then, with 0:48 seconds left, AL HARRIS INTERCEPTED Cutler's pass!! The Packers kneeled down the ball, and escaped Chicago with a win. Next week they host the Lions.

Detroit Lions (0-4) @ Green Bay Packers (4-0)

10-3-10- The Packers beat the Lions today, but they had a disappointing offensive performance. The Lions chose to kick, and the Packers scored on the opening drive on a 12 yard TD pass from Rodgers to Driver. After that, the action died, as no offense could get going. To prove that point, in the third quarter, Collins got a safety on a FS blitz. Then, off of the good field position from the safety, Rodgers drove the team down the field, and hit Grant in the endzone on a 19 yard TD pass to make it 16-0, but the Offensive Coordinator(the CPU was calling my plays with Gameflow) decided to go for two, but the Packers were shut down. The Lions scored on their next possession, on a 47 yard field goal by Hanson to make it 15-3. Then, Crosby answered with a 46 yard field goal of his own, to make it 18-3. The Lions then scored with about 2:00 minutes left, on a pass from Matthew Stafford to Calvin Johnson. The Lions went for two, but Woodson got an interception to stop them, and put the game out of reach. The Lions kicked an onside kick, but the Packers recovered and ran the clock down. Next week's game is at the Redskins.

Green Bay Packers (4-1) @ Washington Redskins (2-2-1)

10-10-10- The Packers were handed their first loss of the season today, but Aaron Rodgers went for his first game without an interception! Anyway, the Packers D started out good, but didn't end good. They forced a punt on the Redskins' first drive, but Blackmon muffed the punt to give the Redskins the ball on the Packers 18 inside the red zone. The Packers D(which will now be referred to as "The Box" because they keep the opponents inside a 10 yard box, and they are the PACKERS so the PACK stuff in boxes.. Ha ha, lol. ) tightened, getting away with a 37 yard field goal from Graham. The Packers got a good drive going, but were stopped in the red zone, and forced to have Crosby hit a 34 yard field goal. With time dwindling in the first half, Rodgers drove the team down field and cashed in on a TD pass to Driver from 5 yards out to make it 10-3. Then, the next drive, in the 3rd quarter, Rodgers hit Jordie Nelson from 12 yards out to make it 17-3. Comfortable lead right?? WRONG! McNabb hit Cooley on a blitz, and he went 80 yards for a TD. Not so bad, right?? Then, McNabb hit Moss on a 57 yard pass, to tie the game 17-17. Crosby nailed a 32 yard field goal with 1:00 left, to put the Pack ahead 20-17. Then, The Box had the 'Skins in 3rd and 12, but McNabb found Thomas for a 52 yard TD pass with 0:08 left, and the Packers had no chance. Next week is home against Miami. We have included a special divisional update in today's post.
