You guys see the crapshoot Offside call against Dempsey today? Disallowed a goal too!

Oh my god, so much emotion ran through me when Donovan hit the net with the shot in stoppage time. I just started yelling at the top of my lungs. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!" That was a great match. Enough to celebrate with Lunch at the pool.

rofl, I hate Italy. They shouldn't have made it past Australia last year (guy flopped on a tackle that totally missed him, then made a PK to win it), and they play really dirty (*coughfightincornerofgoalcough*).

Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm actually glad France didn't make it through either, due to Henry's "hand of frog". I'm sure the Irish would be just as pleased.

Amen to that! I was ticked off ever since I'd heard about that play (which was at the very begining of the world cup  ). The people of Ireland and the fans of Ireland (like me!) are very happy.

Whoa, every QF game has a South American team in it.

Brazil vs. Netherlands
Argentina vs. Germany
Uruguay vs. Ghana
Paraguay vs. Spain

Interesting... but not all that surprising

Nothing's surprising anymore, I have seen it all in this world cup.

I'm part Spanish, so I'm rooting for Spain. Even though I lost interest in this since Japan lost.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Brazil lost 2-1!
And one of the 2 was an OWN GOAL!
GAH!

And yeah, the Netherlands was playing pretty dang dirty there... Think I'll just side with Spain... though the Netherlands has yet to win a WC...

Root for Spain! I'll know I'm not alone on the forums.
