I'm talking about the one with Cowher on the cover.

Here's the thing: In this game's draft the first two picks are:

Texans: A.J. Hawk
Saints: Matt Lienart

And here are some other inaccuracies:

*The initial player draft was faulty and unbelievable; A.J. Hawk was usually the first pick, with Reggie Bush and Vince Young as mid-first round picks, and Ernie Sims being a fifth or sixth round pick.

*Jerome Bettis is on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster, despite the fact that Bettis retired during the post game celebration after Super Bowl XL, the time at which the game begins. Other, then-retired players such as Wayne Chrebet are also in the game.

*In the game quarterback Kellen Clemens, a white player with short hair, is black with dreadlocks, much like then Pittsburgh Steelers back-up quarterback Omar Jacobs.

*LSU linebacker Cameron Vaughn's name is reversed in the game; he appears as Vaughn Cameron.

*Former Olympic skier and part of the draft class Jeremy Bloom's height is 6'7", nearly a foot taller than in reality.

I'd be the Bengals, I'd trade Chad Johnson for two good receivers, not just one. We need to win a superbowl, or at least a playoff game, so come draft time I'd pick seven defensive players.
Anybody else agree?

How is Leinart being #2 inaccurate? I mean it's just what the Saints want....

In Madden 07, Maurice Jones-Drew is Maurice Drew-Jones. I uninstalled my copy of the game, if anybody wants to check if it's the same in Head Coach, go ahead.

It's Maurice Drew in my game.

alrighty then.
I'm more defensive minded, really, and I prefer a 3-4 defense with VERY good linebackers.
That also means a very strong, run stuffing DT.
as for offense, I like to have a west-coast style offense, but with slightly more deep balls.
as I said earlier, a guy like andre johnson would really help.
even though this is slightly irrelevant, my favorite pass patterns to use are the slant, drag, and fade routes, with occasional corners. by the way, with a good tight end, the corner route is deadly.
