Dont forget about Arizona and Webb. He's 9-0 right now, I see another Cy Young for him

Yea they are. They have some pretty nice young picthers. I wonder if they will trade Griffey this season.

Oops! DeWitt walk-off singles in Martin... so much for the Hot Red Leggings.

I'm going to be asking for DeWitt in the 2008 version, because he's a last second call up and I doubt he's even on the roster... and Martin to have 2nd pos: 3B...

Grr...the tribe is losing....recently in dramatic game ending hits...
When the tribe loses I get mad. Grr
I might appear to be mad in my next couple of posts.

Meh every single hitter was in a slump...That was a dumb idea to walk Pierzynski

I was at the last Padre/Reds game
stayed for all 18 innings only to see the Reds give it up and now Harang is spent and Uncle Bronson has to take his spot vs. the pirates

good thing he likes pitching on 3 days rest

Yeah the tribe remind me of last years White Sox. But they are younger, and it's been a strange AL Central this year. How about them Tigers???

LOL. They don't seem to know what they want to be. "Do we want to be the slugging team everyone thought we would be or do we want to race with KC for the cellar of the division?"

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Cubbies.

We finally have a chance for REAL this time! The pitchers are pitching great the hitters are hitting well. Two rookie of the year candidates, four to five all star candidates. Best record, most come from behind wins. Almost every game is exciting to watch.

You can tell the entire organization wants to win this year. They have an enormous amount of confidence, even when trailing late in games. (Even came back from a 9-1 deficit)

I don't want to get my hopes up, (they've been known to dissapoint), but this really feels like our year. Everything seems to be going our way.

GO CUBS!!!

I was born at a time when two things were certain, Michael Jackson was the coolest person alive, and the Chicago Cubs always lose. The world I knew has fallen apart. The Cubs winning it all will make my head explode. But I gotta give credit where it's due. They're playing good ball right now.

lol

The problem with the Cubs right now is they are killing the bullpen with poor starting outings by anyone other then Zambrano and Dempster. Carlos Marmol and Kerry Wood have been good but they have pitched a ton of games already. Other then that, yeah the Cubs are playing well. And I'm a Sox fan, hard to admit that.

And Carlos Quentin should be in the All Star game.

No doubt in my mind. He'll probably be selected but not voted in as a starter. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he is.

The problem with fan voting is that it's a popularity contest instead of the very best players of the half. I also don't really agree with every team having a representative. Not every team has a player who deserves it. A lot of young players with surprise talent end up getting snubbed because of it.

Congrats to Shawn Chacon, for coughing up 7 runs for the Cards in the second inning tonight.

and to Zambrano, who gave up 5 in the 7th, including a 3 run jack to a brawling Matt Kemp.
