Hey, I have some short stories, too! Should I post them? :D

please note: they are short stories, not novels.

You asked for it: YOU GOT IT! Here the next bit is!
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
" Do you know anything about this menacing man who escaped " "No Sir. I was at the mess hall, eating my daily food." He went down the line of soldiers, asking the samething to each of them. All the answers were " no". This angered the general, causing him to go into a state of fury. He flipped over the desk, and smashed a light-bulb with his fist." I asked who knows! Someone here must know!" He kicked his desk, then evaluated the soldiers" You! You must know! I can see it in your eyes! " In response to this outburst, the soldier shook, and responded with silence. The commander snapped his fingers, and said " Guards! Take this traitor away!" The two slim soldiers, clad in spotless gray uniforms grabbed the man by the arms, and dragged him away. The unfortunate soul cried for help, and scratched and hit the two men who would ultimatley kill him, but nothing had any effect. The soldiers knew, tha if they were to try to help their comrade, they too would have the same poor fate as him.

great job there!
good cliffhanger, though not enough to get DrMario on you.

Hey everyone!

As most of you DON'T know, I'm a aspiring artist, and writer. I've worked on quite a few books in the past. Like my survival book,my (postponed ) apocalypse book (20-74), and my newest one, which at the time, has no title. It's set in a post-apocalyptic environment, where a corrupt group's trying to take over the world, and owns a prison camp. It's about a guy who manages to escape, and tries to reach the rumored " Utopia " in the desert( wastelands ). If anyone here is interested, I could maybe post up some of it. Right now, its only about 7 pages, in small print.

If you''d like to see it, or learn more about my hobby, go ahead and make the post!

That's pretty cool, I'm actually writing a book myself which I hope to someday get published. It looks like it might be 400+ pages, so I might not finish it till I'm 18-20. I'm a pretty good writer, and I'm really enjoying it.

I've wrote many a (10-12 page) book during my life, and have a couple of series for them. They're mostly geared toward young tweens, but I think you might like them. I may start a thread for this.

Hey Guys, remember: GIVE IDEAS!!!

Ok, heres the next bit:
REMEMBER: GIVE IDEAS,GUESSES,AND TITLE NAMES!!!!

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

. As the escapee walked, he noticed an eerie presenceHe could nearly feel that someone was around, but for as far as he could see, there was mearly sand, and the occasional pitch-black plant. As he walked, he soon found one of these ghostly pieces of nature. They seemed to be normal plants, though charred black, and looking dead. The slim man kneeled down to touch the plant. It felt like sandpaper. Rough, and uncomfortable to the touch. He thought, that possibly he could eat these fallout-plants, but after feeling the texture, he deemed them inedible.

wow, that's great.
only suggestion is to use more figurative language (it could have really made the last part great).

You're right: I should. I'll remember that, and go in and edit it. The next chapter will leave you at a HUGE cliffhanger. I'm trying to reveal more of the eguy who escaped's past slowly, with each chapter. This bit slightly talks about his childhood, and most importantly: His mummy.
