Ah *(censored)* did I miss dtigers' birthday?

Hope it was a good one my man.

Heading into the last week of the regular season, our basketball team(Seneca) is 18-2. We got a #1 seed in the playoffs, which means our first 3 games(provided we win) will all be at home. 5 wins are needed to play in the state semifinal at the Kohl Center. I'm set on winning at least 4 of those, and I know we have a shot at #5, which will most likely be against a team we played this week. We lost to them by 21, but it was a tie game with 11 minutes left... It should be a fun wrap up to my high school career!

So, I just did a Fantasy Draft in OOTP 16 with MLB players, and as the Tigers, who had the second pick in the draft, here's who I got for my Major League squad. Let me know what you think:

Cishek as closer? really?? I'd put Giles or Miller…maybe even Zeigler…ahead of him in the here's-my-1-run-lead category.

SPs aren't too bad really. I wonder if stretching out Miller is an option?

Correa and Arenado on the left side of the infield is exciting though.

The catching tandem is interesting, both righties with 1 yr of experience, almost exactly the same offensively. McCann seems to hit lefties a lot better than Realmuto though…just one season sample size, but I'd throw Realmuto in the normal lineup and push McCann to vs. lefties. he hit lefties .040 pts higher than Realmuto last season, and had more of a drop off vs same-handed throwers.

Yeah, Cishek was really good before this past year, just kinda fell off a cliff. So far, he's been alright, going 5/5 with a 1.04 ERA. OOTP 16 is based on stats prior to the 2015 season, so he has pretty good abilities as a closer in this game.

Not sure on that. Stamina rating's only at a 4/20, so I'm gonna keep him as a dominant setup guy.

That's why I snatched them up! lol


Yeah, in the game, McCann has better current hitting abilities overall than Realmuto by a little bit, but their potentials are very similar. I currently have McCann in the regular lineup, but I may take your advice for a few games, and see what happens.

Now, if only my pitchers can get some damned strikeouts, that'd be great...(Rodon has 7.5 K/9, deGrom 6.8, Stroman 6.0, Karns 5.8, and Young 3.4, though that last one is expected)
