Not sure where to post this in order for it to be seen by its intended audience, so I figured here would work...

Do any of you older and wiser folk have any advice on picking a college and then on picking a major? I'm totally clueless and I'm running out of time. :lol:

You like sports don't you? Try something there. If you like kids, maybe a teacher? and you could coach too

But hmmmm, I'm a phys. ed major because I like kids and sports. Maybe an athletic trainer? Physical therapist? Sports Management?

What interests you? (not from what I said, just in general)

I've had enough physical therapy to say no to that, athletic trainer is very meh as well.

I like to play basketball, computers are interesting but idk if I want to do that as a career...

BrewersFuzz, I'm still a kid. Lol. When I grow up, I'm planning on going to SDSU (school I've gotten an offer from) and study in the the sports business/management department. I'll also hope to intern with the Padres when I'm there and learn from A.J. and the group. After college, I'll hope to get a job with an MLB team and go up from there.

P.S. - When I'm older, I hope to become an community manager or moderator on a Power Pros forum one day also. I think I'm addicted to this game.

you're like 12 how are you getting offers and deciding college stuff already???

when I was in middle school I spent 99% of my free time watching cartoons and playing video games, wasn't thinking at all about college at that point

oh yeah and I doubt there will be any Power Pros forums around "when you're older" because this is A) the only one and B) not all that active

I'm 13, I've won a few state and county awards for academic stuff (math and science competitions and other stuff I can't think off the top of my head). All that has earned me 2 scholarship offers from SDSU and Arizona St. My middle school life is playing baseball, power pros, watching MLB network, and going to MLB games.

Are they academic scholarships? For some reason, I thought they were baseball scholarships, but academic makes a lot more sense
