PE was awesome. Except Fridays.

The best PE moment for me, though, wasn't even in a PE class I was supposed to be in. I had an early bird Weight Training class, but we had free reign sometimes to go join the early bird PE class after roll call. So I usually went 2-3 times a week down to join in sporting activities.

Then whiffle ball happened. I played left field in the one game I joined in on. Let me tell you, some of these kids (read: girls) didn't particularly understand baseball/softball/whiffleball rules. So, I'm out there, catch a fly ball with both runners going. I jam in to 2nd base for the force, then tag the runner coming in from first. Unassisted triple play, baby!

Holy shit. Donald Sterling banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5M. I knew the punishment was gonna be harsh, but I didn't think it would be THAT harsh. Damn.

Silver thinks he needs to do something Huge And Momentous because he's new. that's what I got out of that punishment LoL

Normally, I'd agree. But he works in a league that is 80% black. Him staying around would have been certain death for the team. Why would you want to play for an owner that thinks you're a useless scum?

I've seen this argument used today for why Free Speech doesn't work in this case, via xkcd...

Currently slashing .571/.654/.714 in 11 games, but I'm not so much happy as I am pissed that a call-up to Varsity still probably isn't going to happen.

A's are laying the smack down on the Rangers again. Not sure whether that's good or bad, considering I have the Rangers starter who gave up 7 runs, and 2 or 3 starters for the A's.

I thought the Rangers just beat the Flyers, how many games are they playing today?

Thanks. It could be worse, I do like the JV coaches and the kids on the team are all right, it just sucks having to tell people you're not on Varsity all the time.

I'm 1-0 as a reliever this year. I've pitched 16 and a third I think, and have given up 6 earned runs (all in one bad outing) for a 2.5(something) ERA.

Hitting-wise, I'm batting .545 (6 for 11 in 20 plate appearances) with a double and 10 RBI.
