So Schoenfield on ESPN ranked all 30 teams for this season, and while I rarely agree with his opinions, this was still interesting. Cardinals 1st and Tigers 2nd wasn't too surprising. Nats 3rd and Rays 4th were. Red Sox were 6th, maybe a bit low for the reigning champs. Angels at 11th are too high. Royals at 18th are too low. Phillies at 29th is kinda hilarious. And, surprisingly, the Brewers aren't 30th.

I knew the Tigers were gonna be in the Top 5. However, not #2. I was thinking #4 or #3.

Looking at it now, I think he ranked the Mariners (22) too low, I've got high hopes for them this year, maybe 17?

Orioles at 81-81 is laughable, honestly, who thinks that they aren't going to be above .500? Last year after they made the playoffs during the offseason I saw 78-84, I think they were 85-78, and now we get another "projected record" that is going to be totally wrong, mark my words.

ugh, this is so easy to answer. saves don't matter, you don't need a designated closer, so you send tommy hunter or whoever to deal with the righty, then for the two lefties or last lefty or whatever, you send out matusz, as long as you win the game it's fine.

I just heard that the twins got Kurt Suzuki now that Mauer is strictly first baseman. In that case, we should put Josmil Pinto at DH.

Our basketball season just ended (JV that is), so here are my final stats for the season:

I played in 12 games, with one start. I was 1 for 7 shooting, 0 for 2 on threes for a total of 2 points to go with 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 8 turnovers.

Baseball season starts Monday, at least it does for me.
