Meh...would've liked him to go to the Cubs...oh well. As one of my Chicago friends put it:

"Tanaka will be on an aging Yankees team with a poor future, rather than the Cubs who will be one of the best in baseball soon. His loss."

Good thing is, there's an opt-out clause after 4 years, so there's that.

You used 'best' and 'Cubs' in the same sentence. I do believe that's a felony

We're 7-5 overall, 4-3 in conference, which puts us in 4th out of 8. Although, we are 1-0 against the team in 3rd(we play the teams in our conference twice each season; once home and once away), and they were one of the favorites to win the conference. :) They're also our rival. :)

My basketball team has experienced a bit of a rebirth. We're 6-1 and we've scored the most points in a single game at 66 in the league. I think we have a good shot at winning the league.
