He's 15. In 20 (?) months he'll be 17, old enough to buy it himself. You don't magically become really mature on your 17th birthday.

That's not the point I was trying to make. I don't know what there is to get. Believing that the game is too violent comes down to a maturity issue, or possible lack there of. By saying no, they think that Mac is not mature enough to handle to content in the game. Yet, on his 17th birthday he randomly flips a switch and is ready? It's not like we're talking about a kid here. Mac is in his mid-teens, and doesn't have much growing left to do. Either he's mature enough, and is forced to wait for no reason, or he isn't ready and probably won't ever be.

Same here though. I never bought an M game until I got Twisted Metal after Christmas (which was garbage fwiw). It's tough taking an interest in games without getting anything M. You're basically stuck with sports, platformers, puzzles, and mild action games. I mean, that's not too bad, you still get things like Uncharted, Portal, Ratchet & Clank, etc. However, that does mean you miss things like GTA, TLOU, Bioshock/Infinite, ME, Fallout, Skyrim, Walking Dead, and countless others
