Reddit's probably like 4chan in that it has a terrible reputation, though some of the boards are the worst shit in the world, but there are a few good ones. However I have no desire to find out.

90%+ of reddit is:

1. Not funny
2. Close minded, racist, sexist, ignorant, petty, self-righteous, overly liberal, overly conservative, and/or perverted

I wouldn't judge anyone for using reddit unless I knew what parts they used. It can be a good site at times, if you avoid the vast majority of the users/subs.

I'd have to check, but I'm not subbed to anything with over 250k subscribers. /r/adviceanimal is crap, same with /r/funny and all the crap with a huge fanbase.
