This game shouldn't be in prime time at all! the NFL is OBSESSED with teams like the Eagles, Vikings and Cowboys and it's becoming pathetic and annoying

Well, the schedule is made before the season starts, with all the TV slots lined up. At the beginning of the year, a week 16 matchup between the Vikes and the Eagles would of been a great game. But, yeah, they are a little obsessed with them, but they're generally good, have large fan bases, lots of stars etc., so I don't blame them. My Panthers had ONE primetime game, and it was the Thursday night game that half the country can't watch, including me. Maybe the NFL saw them being as bad as they are, but SI predicted them to go 10-6, and win the division

But starting week 11, the NFL has flexing. So they can change any Sunday game time, including sunday night

It was scheduled to be Chargers @ Bengals before and that HAD to be changed. And they of course changed it to the Eagles and Vikings, even with how bad the Vikings are. So the NFL had a choice and chose the Eagles

My problem is the NFC East. You'll notice that Joe Buck does almost EVERY NFC east game, he's the top announcer on fox who does the top game each week. And pretty much every one of their games are on prime time if they are facing eachother, they overruled Patriots/Colts for something like Cowboys/Giants.. come on man(to quote espn). And the Cowboys, in every game they've gotten at 5-10 or whatever, have gotten the top or 2nd best announcer on the network. Yes even Cowboys/Lions got the 2nd best one.

And I get ALL of their fox games which annoys me. Heck I should NO/TB or CHI/GB next week, both huge games, but I'm getting Giants @ Redskins  Heck the only reason Buck isn't in Philly doing a pointless Eagles/Cowboys game is he was already in Green Bay and will stay there

It's not THAT huge of a deal for me since its just announcing and prime time thats my problems with them, but it's somewhat annoying

But I must say it's nice to see teams like the Rams and Seahawks, no matter how bad the matchup is, this is the first time I've ever seen them in prime time. I will not be happy at all if the Seahawks win, I can accept an 8-8 team in the playoffs, the Chargers did so a few years ago(ugh I still remember when the Chargers went 8-8 and the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs on the last day, bad memories..)

Ok, so I'm 1 behind LM... and we vary on three picks... sounds like a plan. Wouldn't it be funny if the game that wins me the championship, should I get lucky, be the Rams-Seahawks game? :P

Very much so sjax, but Whitehurst is gonna suprise some people, I have confidence in Aaron Curry, WFU alum, to sack Bradford.

You seem to be forgetting a couple things. A. Seattle's on a 3 game skid. B. Charlie Whitehurst < Matt Hasselbeck. C. Steven Jackson is having another Pro Bowl season.

Not that St. Louis is a lock mind you, I was damn sure they'd lose last week, but I like their chances.

Either way, I'm so so so so so thrilled I see THE RAMS ON NATIONAL TV on Sunday... biggest game for us in what, 5 years?

Holy crap.

I'm sorry LM, but your record is false. I was looking at past weeks, and if I'm not mistaken, after week 15's games Jacob accidentally added 20 wins instead of 10 wins to your total. You can check for yourself. Plus, it explains why you have a higher sum of games than everyone else. And why Jacob accidentally left you on the bottom that week.

well thank you sjax, I knew something was very fishy about this and at some point I needed a mistake, right?

I need to find a way to fix this but you pointed it out so you probably know more about it

And so far we know:

AFC:
1.) Patriots (14-2) :!:
2.) Steelers (12-4)
3.) Chiefs/Colts (Colts win gives them 3 seed)
4.) Jaguars/Colts/Chiefs
5.) Ravens (12-4)
6.) Jets (11-5) ha ha ha ha

NFC:
1.) Falcons (13-3)
2.) Bears (11-4, in progress)
3.) Eagles (10-5, in progress)
4.) Rams/Seahawks (I'm actually excited for this)
5.) Saints (11-5)
6.) Buccaneers/Giants/Packers

The Bucs upset of the Saints put them at 10-6, gave them their first win against an over .500 team and keeps them alive

I would love to see the Bucs make the playoffs, great story this season and they have a chance with a lot of help.

I swear I just stumbled upon it. But yeah, it's your fault. :P
For getting LM's hopes up and mine down. I've been leading since Week 1, dammit. xD

I have my Steven Jackson jersey on, a full bag of Tostitos, and Sam Bradford on my side. I like the Rams' chances.

Actually, I was kinda wondering what was up with that, I'd been at the bottom all along. Suprisingly, I'm not mad, mostly because I found out I won my Youth Group's Fantasy Football league, WITH Aaron Rogers out for a week (That's why I stopped checking). :)

well sjax, you are the winner of the regular season picks :D Congrats

If we do the picks for the playoffs, I won't take part of it unless someone else is willing to do it throughout the playoffs
