Hey hockey aficionados, I'm interested to know what you guys think of this NHL 12 fantasy draft team I've just recently started a season with. I'm not too knowledgeable of hockey but I think I know a decent amount of players.

I had the #2 pick as the Sharks and took most backups based on potential. This is just my starting line, I'll add the other lines later:

LW Ovechkin
C Tavares
RW Kessel
D Larsson
D Bogosian
G Quick
---------------------

Kawasaki's a clown.

I think most sports commentators in the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh area are overly pushy and mean... There is Eskin, Mark Madden, everyone who covered Bryz's bad season and his being a flake... Should I go on?

It certainly is a passionate place but with my dad listening to the Philly radio all the time I can agree they go over the top with their criticisms. Some of them I just don't like.

Ovechkin and Quick alone make that a championship team. Kessel and Tavares are also both solid players. No idea who Larsson or Bogosian are...

why is that? all my friends are playing it and love it. im trying to get it soon.

The first line is good enough (can't remember if Tavares started good or if he just had potential then though), though I'd probably trade Kessel or move him around to get someone that knows how to either pass or hit on the line instead. If I remember the NHL '12 ratings correctly, the first defense pairing is pretty average but would develop to slightly above average. And the goalie rating should be good, but goalies are so random in that game that the goalie ratings don't really even matter very much, if at all.

Finally done with freshman year. Feels good.

Because it's depressing! It makes you feel gross and unsettled. But that's what they're going for.

And I love it

I finished it and it felt pretty average overall.

I'd have to say the beginning was much better than the ending in both story and gameplay.
