Hmm.. awful time management and play-calling, the fact that he's been there for over a decade and they haven't won a Super Bowl yet..

Ok, this proves that your expectations are too high. Since 1999, when Reid got there, there have been 13 Super Bowls and 9 different winners. That means that 72% of teams haven't won a Super Bowl in that time, and it just so happens that the Eagles are one of them. Fisher was with the Titans for 15 years and they never won it all. Is he a bad coach?

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Funny enough, this argument was brought up on the Philly radio. I consider them in the same boat. Reid may not be a bad coach, but he's certainly not a great one. I think I'd rather have Fisher than Reid. I have a feeling we might have won one with Fisher.

I thought it was the worst by far. I've only read it once, just because every time I try to reread the series, I can never manage to force myself into rereading that one. So I've read the first couple books 3 or 4 times each, but the last one just once.

Agreed, except I haven't tried to reread the series.

I don't know how many of you actually care about this, but Matt Giraud (of American Idol fame) is coming to work with my choir class tomorrow. Pretty excited about it.

Could I ask why?

Also, I doubt they would have won a championship with Fisher.

It was so incredibly *(censored)* bleak. I understand that the first two were as well, but at least the first two were actually exciting. I find the series as a whole to be relatively weak; I mean, I enjoyed them, but it wasn't the GREATEST THING I'D EVER READ like some people say it was.

I never said it was the greatest thing I've ever read. And yes, it is insanely bleak. I thought it had excitement, it was definitely different from the first two, but I thought it finished up the series really well. I will admit it is an emotional investment to read.

And I never said that you said that. I just really preferred the whole actual Hunger Games premise more than the "war oh no people are dead" premise.

dunno personal preference

Yeah, I hear you man. The Hunger Games premise is really unique and great, but I don't think she could have Katniss be in the Hunger Games a third time. I might not read it again any time soon. I would much rather read Catching Fire, but I thought the last book was the most mature and best written.

Different strokes, I guess.

I don't think Jennifer Lawerence is drop dead gorgeous, actually. I think she had the toughened look to play Katniss.
