2. I had a half day today, and do nothing for much of tomorrow because the other guys have PSATs. Seniors just do... senior stuff? I like having those sorts of things happen... also, being a senior means I can be a bit more goofy and not care, personally speaking. Like, I'll wear 3D glasses around school sometimes (those old red/blue ones). It's just funny... oh, and just wait until April Fool's Day, man. I've got TWO tricks up my sleeve there.

3. PSAT was easy as heck last year. I ended up getting some commendment for being in the top 3% out of 1.5 mil or whatevs. It apparently required the principal, 3 assistant principals, and one other staff member to barge into my AP Statistics class to congratulate me and give me some cardstock certificate for it (though it'll look good on my college resume ^_^).

We take the PLAN today (ACT prep). Sophomores and juniors are taking the PSAT. Then we go to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd period classes...IN THE AFTERNOON.

It's step 1 to many for the Eagles to be a Superbowl contender. Next is Mike Vick being gone, Andy Reid finally, finally, being fired, Mornhinweg being gone, the GM/accountant Howie Roseman being shipped out (we'll see here), and the Eagles bringing in some real coaching, some real players and a front office that wants to win. Jeffrey Lurie only sees $$$, otherwise he would have made some changes after the last 14 years (I'm looking at you, Andy). I could go on more but I really don't want to.

Now that I got that out, I have to say, the PSATs were super boring. I guess it was worth it to come home and take a half-hour nap though.

I was elated when I saw Catillo was fired.

I think Vick can step up his game. Phillies, the Eagles DO have real players, otherwise it wouldn't be disappointing if we were at 3-3.

Phillies, that's a bit drastic. All the Eagles have to do is finish like 9-7 to make the playoffs. And as we learned last year, anything can happen in January (and February). Blowing up the whole organization seems unnecessary and would leave the Eagles worse off than they are right now for at least a couple years.

On the topic of off days, I have a day off tomorrow, and I get out at 1 on Tuesday.

I can't think of any big star besides LeSean or Trent Cole.

All the other guys who have been touted as studs are only somewhat good: We know we'll get inconsistency from Vick, and right now we're seeing more bad than good; DeSean is too small to be an effective WR, and though he has made some good plays, I still don't consider him an elite receiver; Maclin is, I'm sorry to say it, a b*tch. He seriously gets hurt almost every game (at least if feels like it, this year) and hasn't made a great impact for a first rounder when healthy... Babin was only good in Jim Washburn's system in Tennessee, after having a great year last year under him, he's completely disappeared - it's obvious the Wide 9 doesn't work (no sacks in the last three games), Nnamdi's a complete bust compared to what he did in Oakland.. I could go player-by-player but it only makes me angry to know we don't have enough stud players like other teams with all of these bust draft picks since Reid's been here.

tl;dr And even though we're 3-3, I don't see a Superbowl even if we make the playoffs, because some changes have to be made. Better coaches need to be put in place for this group of players, who imo are more overrated than anything, to play good enough to beat the best teams. Maybe we'll get lucky, I don't know, but I don't see them winning more than 1 game in the playoffs unless they make some changes or start playing really good.

Also, I still think your blowing this out of proportion, Phillies.

Phillies, I think you've come to expect too much. There are a good chuck of teams that, at 3-3, would be ecstatic. There's also a good chunk of teams that would love to have the Eagles roster. Think, there's 32 teams, about 20 of which have a shot at winning it all. Just calm down and let everything fall into place. Blowing up the roster, coaching staff, and front office after a .500 start is ridiculous.

The fact is, 3-3 is dissapoint ing right now, but it's the bye week. No need to start re-building now.

Perhaps, but I just don't trust they're a SB team. That's just my opinion, and I'm waiting for them to prove me wrong.

If they don't make it far in the playoffs, something needs to happen. The faithful fans in Philly shouldn't have to wait another year for a Super Bowl trophy while Andy Reid is standing there with his fat face on the sideline. There's enough talent among the bad coaching that they should be winning in the playoffs, and that's been the same almost every year, but they haven't got it done..

What has Reid done to make you think he's a bad coach?
