EDIT: I might of found out a way to trigger a GJ. I know it does not work every time because I have done this before, but I think it triggers it. OK you go to the icon with the dog. When you click on that you should go to the locker room and yabe is there. Both of you go to a big outside. Then the music when you usally see GJ starts playing. Then you see a purple ghost thing. Then you see a guy, but you can not see him clearly. I think that might be goodjob.

You CANNOT S/L in 2011. Or any Japanese game for that matter.

If you save, go back, and then turn off the system without saving (or exit without saving) the player will get deleted.

Does they player actually 'die', or do they just fail to make the NPB. I would assume it's the latter...

I assume they usually just fail to make it. The guy I was making seemed to retire (recurring elbow troubles).

You can't have a pitcher with a bad elbow.

In some of the older Japanese games there was a random event where your player was involved in a car accident, and got seriously injured.

He then can no longer play.

Pretty rough.

If that was put into an American game, there would be all kinds of lawsuits...
