I'm always so torn around this time of year, on the one hand, I don't want Summer to be over, but on the other, I want the days to hurry up and go faster so I can get the next NHL game.

The more I think about it, the more hard to believe it is that the Red Sox were an amazing team as soon as 5 years ago.

But trading Gonzalez wouldn't be worth it.
Seriously,Rizzo,Kelly and Fuentes are and were worth more then any prospects the Dodgers have.Zach Lee have not proven anything,Allen Webster is fine,Rubby is supposed to be good,but I know nothing about him and Jerry Sands is a career .244 hitter
Plus,Crawford was starting to play better,I really hope this doesn't happen,or at least give us Joc Pederson.
The only way I'm happy is if they call up Brentz or Bradley and they do amazing.PLus get Joc Pederson

You're probably right... But it's just that Gonzalez is my favorite player, Crawford was from over in Tampa originally, and as bad a Beckett is, I can't imagine winning that '07 WS without him

If I were the Sox, I'd just give the Dodgers Beckett, and then take Gonzalez and Crawford back off waivers. We know what Beckett is (terrible) so get rid of him. Give the rest of the team one more chance, and if the Sox aren't in a position to make the playoffs next July, then blow the team up and start over.

It will probably be difficult to just blow up the team. They have locked themselves into some big and long (if you know what I mean...jk) contracts.
