I decided to hit the weight room and felt some improvement, just in time for the final tryout for the team. The coach organized a match with the rival St. Paul Saints, I was in the starting lineup batting sixth, before the game the coach stated that this was the final chance for everyone to prove themselves.

In my first at-bat I quickly went down 0-2 against some guy who tossed at around 80mph, he also threw a change up from what I saw.

A. Swing faster and guess a fastball.

I decided to just try to make contact, I fouled off two pitches before taking a ball, and then bunt-swinging the ball down the third base-line, in which I was barely safe.

I walked twice more during the game, coach said I had a great eye and that I made the team. Six other people were cut. I was told that I would be the backup and would be relegated to pinch hit and substitution roles. I was disappointed but was glad to be on the team.

I decided to apply for the shelf stocking job at Wal-Mart, they decided that it was too physically demanding for a person like me and they decided to let me run the register instead, at a severely diminished salary, I have to attend work at least once every two months.

At school we had a history test, I didn't understand many of the answers. And got an E+ on it, at least I increased my grade.
