I'm also thinking of getting a PS3 for Christmas...

I was thinking NBA 2K13, then seeing if I could get an action game/ shooter game with all the money I get.

I was thinking LittleBigPlanet 1 or 2(what one), or... well, I don't know what shooting game.

LittleBigPlanet 1 is obsolete.

LBP 2 is LBP 1 (literally, it has all the levels created in it) plus new things.

Get 2.

It seems as though I'll have to stop saving for a new iTouch now... If I got that, the only game I would be able to get is JPPY 11

You could probably get Portal 1 and 2 for a reasonable price.

I'd recommend doing that.

Can you buy Portal 1 by itself? I thought it only came with the Orange Box thing

I calculated Assassin's 3, LittleBigPlanet, Portal 2, Uncharted 3, and Ratchet & Clank, and it will probably come out to about $170, which I can afford. But I should likely have at least another $100 (cheers birthday money and good grades) by that point, and a custom colored controller looks pretty nice...
