Bio: Anthony was born in McMinnville, Tennessee and picked up baseball right away. However, being tall and skinny, he could not gain MLB worthy top speed. He therefore went undrafted out of high school, but made his college team by walking on. After his Freshman year at Tennessee Tech, Anthony failed to be drafted again and his family didn't have the money to continue his education. He dropped out.
