The Bucks don't deserve to have him. They just plain sucked last season.

Now it was time. Draft Day 2011. Jason was more nervous than he was during the Rookie Showcase. All of his hard work, all his years of training, would come down to this. Jason arrived in a Limousine with Robin, Jess, and Leo. NBA wanted to go all out for this one, considering they might not even have a season. The Mock Draft had Jason going in the #9 to the Bobcats. On the way to the Prudential Center, Jason and the gang had an interesting conversation in the Limo:

Leo to Jason: Hey did you hear? Mock Draft got you going in the 9th pick to the Bobcats!

Jason: Man, I hope I don't get picked by them. They already got D.J.. If I go there, I'd have to be playing Shooting Guard if I even start and I'm just not a Shooting Guard. I like to run the floor, not watch it be run.

Leo: I feel you. Hey, didn't you give some good buzz Sac-Town's way?

Jason: Yeah. They're one of the locals, even though my crew is the Warriors. If I got drafted there, I'd get to play against the Warriors! And Curry!

Leo: That would be funny. I can imagine it now.

Jess: What would you do if the Bucks or the Bobcats picked you today?

Jason: Retire. (Laughs) Just kidding. They probably won't draft me. The Bucks know they have Brandon Jennings and the Bobcats know they have D.J. They'd be pretty stupid to that.

Just then, they heard a bang and the window was broken. There were 2 more bangs and one more window broken.

Jason: WHAT THE F*** WAS THAT!

Unknown: WE'RE COMING JASON!

Jason: Oh f***.

Robin: What! Who are they!

Jason: The Hy-Chi Clan... DRIVER STEP ON IT!

All: THE WHO?

Jason: The Hy-Chi Clan. Dad, you remember when I moved to that middle school for a couple of weeks before we moved to San Fran?

Robin: YEAH! WHAT ABOUT IT!

Jess: It's them.

Jason: When I moved to school, the first person I saw was Jess. I felt like she was that person, that once-in-a-lifetime person. I went up to her and talked to her for a bit while waiting for the morning bell. When the bell rang, I was ganged up on by a group known as the Hy-Chi. The group leader said that 'Jess was my girlfriend and you needed to step off if you know what was good for you.' I ignored him and talked to Jess everyday. A week later, Jess dumped him because he was being a jerk. I seized the oppertunity and asked her out. On our date, the Hy-Chi group followed us. We barely escaped them. About a week later, I had to leave the school, but Jess told me she was going to the same high school, so I was going to wait. They must have found me...

Jess: What are we going to do about them? Especially if Kwel finds us...

Leo: Well we're not going to do nothing. I'll get on with the comissioner. I'll tell him to never let this "Kwel" into any stadium or anywhere near Jason. If he is to be anywhere in a 100 mile radius of Jason, he is to be arrested.

Jason: Thanks Leo, but I think they have other plans. Driver! Go to Parking Sector 2.1 and take the "Extra" route. We'll lose them!

The Hy-Chi gang were divided into three Lamborghinis and heading after them fast. The route called "Extra" passed a 2 acre Police station. Any disturbance there will bring out at least four cars. They took the route and escape them. They arrived at the Prudential Center on time for the Draft.

So we have a top NBA draft pick who has history with a gang/clan that owns a rich, powerful corporation and wants to kill him...

The gang has just arrived at the Prudential Center, two windows broken and fear within everyone of them.

Jason: Everybody okay?

Jess: I think that we're fine. Couldn't say the same thing for the car...

Jason: That's the NBA's problem now. Come on, let's go in.

They headed into the Prudential Center. The place was still well lit, but Jason knew that they would eventually dim the lights down. On the way to his table, he was stopped by Derrick Gibson, the center that was on his team during the Rookie Showcase.

Derrick: Hey, what's up Jason!

Jason: 'Ey, what's cracking Derrick! Guys, I'll meet you at the table. Who'd picked you in the Mock?

Derrick: They got me getting picked by the Jazz third pick. If they pick me, it's gonna be tough to develop.

Jason: They said I was gonna get picked by the Bobcats ninth. I can't go there man! They already got D.J.! I can't play shooting guard.

Derrick: Hey, you okay man? I saw your limo. Two broken windows. What happened out there man?

Jason: I really don't know. We suspect that it was some young idiot kids flingin' rocks at us.

Derrick: Well I got to go. Good luck out there!

Jason: You two!

Jason went back to his table and took his seat. He was a little confused because he had not seen Derrick when he was walking into the building. He had a feeling about that he couldn't shake. He told the table about it. They told him to forget about it and it was nothing. Just then, the lights dimmed and David Stern took the stand.

"Good evening and welcome to the 2011 NBA Draft. Tonight, we recognize a new class of basketball talent, that has made it's way to the NBA. Their dedication and hard work out of their families has paid off and this moment is a promising new step in their careers. It is also a time of extrodinary optimisim and hope for the fans of teams as they look for yet additional great players to make their teams better (Ah Ah DUH). The selections that are will be viewed by millions of NBA fans
around the world in more that 200 countries as they make their way to become NBA players. Everyone is ready, so let's begin. With the first pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Doug Martin from the university of Michigan..." The list went on until he they got to the third pick, where Derrick was to go:

"With the third pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz select, Derrick Gibson..." Jason immediately jumped up and started clapping cheering. He never really mentioned this to anyone, but he and Derrick were cool when they were both in Kindergarten. A year later, Derrick moved away, but they stayed in touch.

A few picks later, the Sacramento Kings came up, a potential draft destination for Jason.

"With the seventh pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select, Jason De La Cruz from the University of California." Everyone at the table jumped up with joy. He hugged Robin, did his signiature high five ritual with Leo, and kissed Jess over and over. He ran up to the stage to be greeted by David Stern. He was greeted and given his congratulations. He then walked down to be greeted by Leo and an unknown man.

Leo: Hey dude, awesome job. This is the Contract Negotiator for the Kings. I'll be right back. We're going to work out a deal. Be back in about 10 minutes.

Jason waited patiently and watched the players get drafted one by one until Leo came out with a smile on his face.

Leo: Dude, I got you a sick deal. How does 2.4 mill for 2 years sound?

Jason: That's awesome dude! Way to get the deal!

Leo: Kings also said that they got you a billboard. They took a picture from an old college magazine and photoshopped it with Kings gear. They did a reallly good job. Here's how it looks:

Yeah, NBA 2K12 My Player looks so awesome this year! I cannot wait to get it!

I like My Player too, its just that you don't get better at all if you sim games in 2k11.

Yeah, I think they fixed that in 2K12. Your player this year will start in the 60's with skills, unlike last year when you would be stuck in the 40's.
