AL MOTY: Not Jim Leyland

NL MVP: Kemp

NL Cy Young: Lee
NL Rookie of the Year: Seems like ROTY winners tend to lean towards being pitchers, so Kimbrel or Worley.
NL Hank Aaron Award: Kemp
NL MOTY: Gibson

I don't think Lawrie has enough AB to win it, but he's got some pretty good stats for a young guy.

AL MVP: Granderson (This burns me to say this, but he's the closest to a triple crown on a CONTENDING team, he is Most Valuable. Ellsbury close second, A-Gon not far behind thrid)
AL Cy Young: Verlander (Haha, this ain't even close)
AL Rookie of the Year: Eric Hosmer (Can't find one a would consider a favorite, Pineda, Ackley, and Trumbo are very close)
AL Hank Aaron Award: Granderson (Kinda of duh if he's MVP
AL MOTY: Leyland (No "breakout" candidate this year, he's been good for a while. But he's the best choice over Maddon, Girardi, Francona, etc.)

NL MVP: Braun (Highest WAR on a CONTENDING team. Kemp is not the most valuable player in the league because his team is 11.5 back of the division leader, and even father back in the wild card. He deserves Hank Aaron, but his team hurt him.)
NL Cy Young: Kershaw (I do have no qualms about giving this award to literally the best pitcher in the league, because that's what this is for.)
NL Rookie of the Year: Kimbrel or Freeman (Very close, I'd probably go Kimbrel just due to the fact he's leading Saves OVERALL FOR THE LEAGUE AS A ROOKIE Non-Braves fan bias :P )
NL Hank Aaron Award: Kemp (Best hitter in the league, easily)
NL MOTY: Gibson (Duh pick)

I was really tantalized by Lawrie's WAR per game, I don't think Granderson should win it because of his bad defense. I don't think being on a contending team matters because how good your teammates are shouldn't affect most valuable

I think it does, to a certain extent.

But even a robot that hits .500 with 70 homeruns and 200 rbis a year on a team like the Orioles or the A's wouldn't make them a contender. You need to contend in order to have consideration in my opinion. Granderson certainly one of the best hitters in the American league and defense as an individual is vastly overrated, read Moneyball. WAR can also be a little bit overrated just because it can be valued a bit too much in voting processes, which should still respect the traditional baseball stats and "scout" values that have been around for years. Trust me, I don't want Granderson to win as a Red Sox fan, but he is the best combination of all the things I value in an MVP candidate in the AL.

Kemp is certainly the BEST player this year as far as a hitting goes. But his team is no where near contending, and he may have made them about 8-9 games better, but that still isn't any where close to contending. The MVP should go to the player that's one of the best in all categories of the Triple Crown Hitting, on a team in the playoffs. Gold gloves, Silver Sluggers, Hank Aarons etc. go to the "best" players

I know I will get bombed if I did, and as much as I like what they're doing, Humans need to evaluate too, Theo Epstein does it with the Red Sox, read this week's edition of Sports Illustrated. True Sabermetrics are really stuck up about "how much more intelligent" they are than the average baseball fan. Stats certainly are a BETTER indicator buy 'n large than Human opinion, but Human opinion is not invalid.
