AL Central: Twins
AL West: Rangers

The Rangers have clinched the AL West with a 4-3 win over the Oakland Athletics! Congrats Rangers. First on-field celebration of a playoff spot in the majors(the Twins have won the central but it was like 1:00 am when they officially did)

It's okay. We'll win the division anyways and prove you wrong... but the Braves will get the wild card. Either them or the Rockies, no way the Pads make the playoffs.

well after watching my heart get ripped into shreds by the red sox last night, we officially have the whole AL thing together

AL East: Yankees/Rays
AL Central: Twins
AL West: Rangers
AL WC: Yankees/Rays

The Yankees only trail TB by 0.5 games but the fact that the Rays have 7 games left against the Orioles and Royals while the Yankees have to travel to Toronto and Boston pretty much should give Tampa the Wild card unless the Yankees can go on a good run

So it would be:

Yankees vs Twins
Rangers vs Rays

In the NL the Phillies and Reds are within a game of wrapping it up but the NL West and NL Wild card races are crazy

Giants - Leader
Padres - 0.5 GB
Rockies 4.5 GB

in the Wild Card..

Padres - Leader
Braves - 0.5 (I must say the Braves really choked down the stretch...)
Rockies - 4 GB

I never count out the Rockies though. and also the Padres play the Giants on the final weekend of the series, that will be huge

My predictions for the playoffs will be:

Braves vs Padres
Reds vs Phillies

For some odd reason I think the Padres will pull it off

Dang I wish the first playoff game wasn't so dang early, I just love the playoffs and seeing the different teams in them every year

I'll have trouble making good predictions so I'm just hoping the Reds, Braves, Rangers and Twins all make it, but its VERY unlikely

Reds @ Phillies - 5:07 PM - Wednesday

Yankees @ Twins - 8:37 PM - Wednesday

Braves @ Giants - 9:37 PM - Thursday

Giants in 5 over Braves

Rays sweep Rangers

Phillies in 4 over Reds

Yankees in 4 over Twins

I'm rooting for the Rangers and Reds most in the playoffs. I like the Braves/Giants matchup the most, that may be the most even
