Not a bad list, I wanted Hamilton though :(

Wait, where did you hear this? I believed you but then I went looking online and it didn't say this anywhere. And besides why would there only be 6 players? Did you just make this up?

no I'm pretty sure they announced it in the revealing show, I didn't make it up but now that I look on google none of it's up. hmm maybe I read something on it wrong

But this was a TERRIBLE year for all-star game decisions. The amount of guys that was missed was amazing. First of Molina is hitting like .220 with 3 HR and Olivo is hitting .300+ with 11 HR. Molina isn't even a marquee player for god sakes, not even close to starting catcher. Heck Olivo didn't get in, HOW DID HE NOT GET IN!!!!

I don't know how Jered Weaver didn't get in, he's having a great season leading the league in K's and not to mention the Angels could use another guy. Mat Latos has been great for the Padres. Mike Pelfrey has 10 wins and a 2.93 ERA. Votto should be in. Andy Pettite's having a great season but is not in and so many other guys

Even the final man voting I don't like either because when guys get snubbed they should at LEAST be able to be in final voting. Konerko's hitting .296 with 20 HR and is probably not going to get voted in the final vote. I don't know why Girardi put Swisher and Young in the final man voting either. There are so many other people that deserve to be in this final voting. Too bad Swisher is going to win it because he's a Yankee...

In the NL I don't think Zimmerman should be in the final voting but the Nats only have one player in so yeah.. I think Votto should win that, deserves to at least

Don't get me wrong I LOVE the all-star game but fan voting is idiot and the coach's picks aren't very good either.

You know who should pick the all-stars? Us. We would do a good job.

BTW, my final man vote is going not to Swisher, but to Paul Konerko. Olivo deserves it, but with the limited choice we get, I'm going for Konerko. And Billy Wagner. I think he should be an All-Star one more time.

Joe Girardi and Charlies Manuel, you did TERRIBLE jobs doing this. this was almost disgraceful...

WHAT?! How does THAT beat Tyler Colvin? .278 AVG, 12 HR, 32 RBI in 162 AB.

I made a forum where WE can pick the all-stars, so we can complain on here and make our All-Star picks there.

not only Colvin, about 20 other players could replace Infante. Infante and Molina were the two worst picks. it's almost hard to watch the all-star game when the best players aren't even playing or starting...

Try Angel Pagan, the most overlooked player in the NL. .303/.363/.451/.815 line with 5 HR and a 15-5 stolen base ratio, a 6.4 UZR, 2.7 WAR and a 3.7 EQBRR which is tied for 7th in the majors. Definitely deserves to be an all star.

The only true HR hitter here is Ortiz. Cabrera and Cano are contact hitters who just happen to have power. Holliday is a power hitter but more of a doubles guy. Same with Corey Hart. I don't really know much about Wells though.

I think he denied his request to do it, sadly

But I'm happy to see Ortiz doing it, I've never seen a Red Sox player in the derby so this is fun for me

Ortiz was in it in 2006.

yeah I know, and I think he was in the 2007 one too. I just never started watching the HR derby until 2008

I've had it with the all-star game. HOW IS NICK SWISHER THE FINAL MAN?!?!?

I'm already in a bad mood right now and this just ruined my day. He is 2nd least deserving guy in the Final Man for the AL and he made it because he campaigned and Yankee nation voted him in. The only reason he's in there is because of Girardi being a homer and putting his own player in the Final Vote when there were so many others that could be in there

To make it worse, its a Yankee. This is one of the worst all-star game voting I've seen, I guess we should call it the average-players game
