Hmm. Considering how almost every review I've seen for this game called it an amazing game, are you sure that you're not doing anything wrong? I've never played this game, obviously, and the reviews I read were for the PS3, so there might be something different there. Did you try reading the manual? Are you sure that you are actually hitting the marker? Also, check where you are aiming the pitch BEFORE the meter. Obviously, if you accidentally aim outside of the strike zone, and throw a 'perfect' pitch, it will go out of the strike zone. It also could have something to do with the pitcher you are playing as. You might figure it out if you just keep playing and get used to it; after all, you probably bought this game two weeks ago, and you're just not used to it. If you try all these things and the pitching mechanics still don't work, you might have a glitched game or something, I don't know. And remember, I've never played this game either, so don't take this advice as the perfect solution.

Well, it could be as I'm aiming, it's somehow sliding between the time I aim and the time the meter starts up. You have to aim using that little dinky joystick, which doesn't seem to respond as fluidly as it should. Maybe I don't realize the sudden shift in aim at the last second.

Or it could be as simple as the PSP version simply isn't any good.

There's quite a few differences between the PS3 and the PSP (including the price), so they'll really need to make two different games. So, your best bet is to look through the manual, even if you already have, to see if you're doing something wrong. I was playing this video game that was for some reason in Spanish when I first got it, and after I played through a level, it displayed a message which I thought was telling me I was winning. It translated to "Bad luck" in Spanish.

Wow Diesel. I check back every couple of months, and I saw a couple, well... not so nice post by you. I started looking through all your post and I can't believe it.. You've really become, well... a bully. What's up with you now, you're acting like you own the place. You're putting everyone down, making fun of everyone's ideas, and just being an all around gerk. You're acting like you're in middle school or something. Just look at your own post, Like not every post, but a couple a page, and I think you'll know what I mean.


Oh, and by the way, a lot of games on the PSP that were meant for something else then transferred over are gonna suck. Don't put down the whole franchise based on that, trust me. It's a hell of a baseball game.

MLB09-10 are WAY better on PS3 and PS2. Cownip has a good point there
