I looked at the Yankees schedule and they're gonna be playing alot of below .500 teams who they can cream and if we get close then we need to sweep the Yankees at Yankees stadium if we want to win the east(or win 2 of 3 but a sweep is ideal)

I only root for the Yankees only when they're facing the Twins and White Sox.

off-topic-tigers are full of awesome hitters in pp 2009, most annoying team there is.

on-topic the red sox have 9 games against the orioles and royals, if the red sox play good, they can easily beat both of those teams. They also have 2 series against the rays.

yea, they have magglio, pudge, granderson, guillen, and they tortured my pitcher in season mode.

and 1 against the angels so thats why I thought it wasn't gonna be too easy, any team that is not the angels, rays, rangers and yankees seem to be easy wins so we need to play at least .700 baseball against those under .500 teams

im not too worried, if we dont get the division, we get the wild card. Last time I checked the 04 Red Sox won the world series after winning the wild card.

That only happened once LOL. Angels are going to be trouble for you in the first round even if you guys win. But with wake out and penny gone. Who else can start? Byrd and Dice-K? Unlike in 2004 you do not have the similar offense or pitching dept.

WHAT? sorry, but the rangers are NOT winning the wild card, and the red sox are NOT losing to the angels in the postseason. The red sox have had amazing success against the angels in the playoffs, ALSO wake is coming back, dice-k is getting better, and we still have becket, bucholz, and lester. sorry but the red sox are going ALL THE WAY.
