really confusing!

It's overwhelming at first. The first thing I did when I played OOTP is read the guide. To access that, just hit F1 in game. Reading up on the interface will probably be the most useful thing to do at this point.

Just wanted to post this since it's pretty dumb on my part.

I took over the Braves mid-season in 2009 after being fired from the Marlins in June. We only had about fifteen wins, five less than the Nationals. I can see why I was fired, so I go into commissioner mode and take control of the Braves. Matt Diaz goes down for three months. I was enraged. I simulate two days, looking at what minor leaguers were performing and thinking about my two additional outfielders and how they would perform as a starter.

Well, I get a trade proposal from the Washington Nationals. They take Jason Heyward and Eric Gagne (minor league contract; 4.22 ERA in Triple-A) from me. In return, I get Austin Kearns. Austin Kearns, Julian Tavarez, Dmitri Young, and an unknown prospect. Kearns was batting over .300 in five games, so I accepted the trade...

Now I'm stuck with a ton of overpaid veterans, a low-level prospect and I'm out of my top prospect all for Austin Kearns...

Note to self: don't accept any trade which includes Austin Kearns. He's impossible to dump... and the Braves slump for six games and Kearns is the first to demand a trade to a contender. >>

I got this installed and its pretty amazing

I traded got Victor Martinez for Masterson, Hagadone and Brad Penny

And I like it how gusy that were injured to begin this year are injured

Really? I've gotten Shoppach for Masterson, but never V-Mart. Nice pick up, nevertheless. I do know this though (I traded Masterson + Kottaras to Cleveland for Shoppach and Trevor Crowe), Masterson will be their number two starter.

That really shows how terrific their pitching depth is to OOTP

How are you guys enjoying OOTP so far?

I'm gonna play that later, probably after the game today

But I think this'll be the game to buy when power pros 2009 officially declares that its not coming out
