Just a clarification regarding the leaks: the press does not have the list of players who tested positive and the MLBPA lawyers are not leaking the names. (Any reporter with the list wouldn't sit on them and the union would protect its members.) Multiple Justice Department investigators are leaking the names, not just one source. They may be the same ones responsible for leaking A-Rod's name, but that isn't relevant.

Sosa's situation is notable because he told Congress in 2005 under oath that he never took any illegal PEDs. His positive test from 2003 gives federal prosecutors a pretty good case for perjury.
