Why? Sosa is 40 years old and didn't play at all last season. Nady is much younger and has experience playing LF and 1B in addition to his usual RF. Even though he's a candidate to regress a bit after his career year last season, but he's still more likely to contribute more than Sosa would.

I would take Sosa over Nady since most likely he'll be out for the year. But Nady is an awesome outfielder when healthy.

Not anchient (in baseball terms) like Sosa. If theres one thing the yankees have too much of, it's outfielders and older players. Combine them both, and you get Sosa. And add in steroids, which he couldn't get away with anymore, so a very weak body. No thank you. Not worth the baggage, and not even worth the 440,000 minimum wage.
