A couple years ago there were like 4 or 5 that went into the 8th in one week then on the same night that Roy Oswalt lost one in the seventh, Anibal Sanchez threw one. :lol:

Closest one to miss in history was Mike Mussina. He was a strike away from no-hitting the Red Sox. He has 6 1-hitters. He also missed a perfect game against the Red-Sox (I think it was them?) in the play-offs by 4-5 outs. His old nick-name, Mr. Almost, was so fitting untill he won those 20 games.

Well, I had to leave at 5:30 for a game and I would've been upset to have missed a no-hitter so its not much a big deal to me that it got broken up, but I still would've like to have had it happen

You're wrong. One guy went into the 13th. Another guy hit the opposing pitcher with 2 outs in the ninth...
