Peavy and Wang are starting,right? That's two aces, Peavy who I'd calll thefourth bestpitcher, and Wang who I would call 8th or 9th. You should try to improve everything but pitching, outfield and third base.

Looks like a so-so deal for both sides

Lopez had an underated year last year by hitting 18 homeruns
Jeter looks like hes on a decline but he'll probably still hit over .300, I mean he was injured last year
Blake will get you around the 17 homerun, 70 rbi kind of consistence
Ankiel hit 25 homeruns last year, enough said

but Beltre can hit 25 homeruns and year and Lee can hit .300 and hit 30+ homeruns

So its more of a good deal for you

Jeter looks like he's on the decline? I'm a totally upssessed Yankee fan, and I haven't noticed anything. He had a bad year last year because he got hit in the hand. After getting hit, his numbers hit rock bottom, his average going from 330-340 to 270. He hit so well once he healed that he got it to later 300s (as in under 310, not 390s). The only good trade on their in my mind was I get:
Jeter
Rick Ankiel
John Danks

He gets:
Manny
John Maine.

Wang not start? No one else (except Peavy of course) really compares. I mean Ervin Santana is good, but Wang is ace quality. I think as the season goes on, you'll probably switch to Wang as he'll probably end up pitching better. He won 19 season twice in a row and got 2nd in Cy Young twice in a row.
