on-topic: i went to a box suite once. We got free admission and parking.(my dad's work) The box came with food for everyone, and we took some home. My dad always says now: "I wnet to a baseball game, didn't spend a dime, and left with food! "

same here at a tides' game.
they gave us baseball cards free, but they were from 12 years ago...

I went to a Tigers-O's game on my B-Day. The Tigers had a LOTof hits, like about 12, but only produced 2 RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The O's were just too tough. They roughed up on Robertson, and we got bombed 10-2!

Went to a few Rangers games, the highlight was back in May seeing Josh Hamilton launch a ball in batting practice about 560 feet - over the little building at the top of the hill in dead center field. Also caught a Braves game in August while I was in the Atlanta area for work. Most years I make it to either the Boston or St. Louis areas to visit family and I'll catch a game or two while there, but this year I didn't.

I went to some minor league games, but not any major league games.

I went to 3 redsox games at fenway one was on the monster. I sat below Doug Flutie.
Then I went to New York to see the Sox play again and I drove into New York the same day as the game with Redsox gear on and every person you passed by either swore,gave you a dirty look, or a thumbsup and some vendor in Central Park gave me a free hotdog.

People take the rivarly to seriously. It is good publicity for MLB but swearing at eachother is alittle far, a dirty look I can see, but unless you are an adult (25+) I hope they don't swear at you.

I went to 10-12 games, I go to every saturday game. It's a package, and it's suprisingly cheap. I sold about 4 of the games, which paid for half of what I saw. I also went to 1 Ray and Dodger game in 2008. Now my Yankee seats will cost 25-50% more (I don't know how much, they haven't figured out what seats there selling for what plan, but I know I'm getting moved up a deck ). It really stinks.

It is going to stink, how (not only the Yankees) will raising their ticket prices.

I usually buy a bunch of Red Sox tickets when they go on sale, and sell the ones I can't go to do and get much of what I spent back. It's actually fun buying the tickets in advance and figuring out what I can can't go to. Sometimes I buy 2 for a friend.


I do the same thing when I'm in Tampa.
