I don't think so for either side.Manny was his fourth outfielder and he didn't need him and needed pitching. Dejesus was my left fielder, who despite being a potential all-star, isn't Manny. I think it was pretty good trade for both of us. We both gained a lot and didn't lose much (Pierre is one of the best base-stealers in the game, he stole 60 last year. If he was second in stolen bases and down by only a few at the end of the season, he could start Juan Pierre for that extra push into first place).

O then I guess the trade isn't half bad

masterson + encarnacion = manny (if he starts the season w/ a team)
pierre + saito = or < giambi (saito's going nowhere fast)

Seeing as he and the dodgers have agreed to 45 million for 2 years, I'd be surprised if he doesn't. The only thing there fighting over is how he'll get payed. The dodgers want to pay him in interest by the end of 5 years, but Manny wants 22.5 each year.

Yes, he did, but they agreed on the amount, it's if he'll get paid the money in interest for 4 years or get it all now.

QUESTION!!!: How do points work? i'm new, and want to know how I can earn more.

It doesn't really matter right now, there's 161 games left. You're given a point for every statistic, ex: 2 points for a hit (I don't know what it is), 5 for a homers, ect. If you get a no-hitter, then you may get something like 50 points.

What I find intresting is, the teams that made a ton of moves, are lowe, the team that made 1 is first, and the team with none(ME!!!) is in second....I see a pattern!

That usually means the teams that made lots of moves had a bad draft and had to make add/drops to compensate.

Haha, or weren't there and had an auto-draft. It's two days in, I'm not worried. I won't start seriously looking at my stats until at least the first month. I know I sound arrogant, but I think I have a good chance at this and probably have the best team so far.
