I don't really see what the smilie was for. Also, I've been checking this site every day. I just haven't seen anything worthwhile to reply to. I don't want to get caught up in the whole MLBPPWorld vs. chitopr nonsense, and that's what is mostly fueling this forum nowadays.

PS2. Other than the PS2, all I got is the wii. Unfortunately, that means no online. My dad said he was going to get MLB2K10 at first, but the clerk said that on the first day it came out, 5 people bought it and 4 of them brought it back! In your FACE, 2K!

I'm sorry cownip, I know what you're trying to say, but I just don't see it. The problem is not that he curses a lot or is really mean. It's all the one-line posts that we frankly don't care about. It's probably true that his use of damn was justified. That's not the problem.
From my point of view, it's the other way around. Sjax's post was prompted, definitely more than Chito's, just in a different way. If chitopr didn't post so many useless one-liners, we wouldn't bully him. It's his continued spamming that irritates us. It's his fault, and I feel that ranting or speaking out against him is justified. We're not bullying him for no reason, we're trying to get him to stop spamming. Chitopr earned his reputation. He actually does only post useless one-liners that we don't care about. We ignore him and/or 'bully' him because he really almost never says anything important. He's a lot like the boy who cried wolf. I suppose that if you have gone through chito's posts as carefully as you did Rob's, you'd realize this.

On a different point, I agree that people can change. It's just that we continue to complain to him about his spamming and he usually gets better for a while, then reverts back to his old ways. Chitopr hasn't posted for nearly a month now. Let's try to give him a clean slate, allow him to make some good posts, defend himself, and not flame him. I assume that he has read these rants. Let's give him a chance to prove to us that he is really trying to change. If, after a while, the pointless posts start up again, that's his fault, isn't it?

I don't like having to take sides like this, but I really had to point this out. We definitely are mean to chitopr, maybe more than we should, but it's not bullying at all.

My team looks pretty good. I drafted 4 Carloses (Beltran, Pena, Lee, Marmol) and got K-Rod

I heard the online play is terribly laggy anyway even on the PS3, so don't worry about that. And that clerk should be fired, isn't his job to try and make customers WANT to buy things?



Don't think that just because they have good careers means they will have good seasons. Beltran is a health concern and he probably won't steal many bases because of his bad knees. Carlos Pena hits for a low average so just be careful. Carlos Lee has been declining for years and Carlos Marmol is just so erratic that you shouldn't be surprised if he posts an ERA over 5.0. As for K-Rod, he had a bad year last year and should bounce back, but if he doesn't have a good April then I would suggest trading him. His ERA, WHIP and FIP were all career highs last year.

I haven't been on in say, about 7-8 months, so. Tell me, and entertain me on what's been happening.

Elven there really isn't much to tell you about. This is just a forum, we just talked about stuff. There was a huge deal about people spamming, then there was a user named chitopr who everyone hated because he spammed a lot, then everyone started talking about not spamming and half of the stuff on this board is people saying don't spam, because all the mods are gone. The other half is about Simyard, fantasy baseball and major league baseball. Not many people here actually still talk about power pros.

I would say the only piece of power pros left is my dying season log.

Well, if that's the case with the mods and people I've known here have disappeared.....

It's time for me to hang up the cleats in terms of PowerPros. I haven't played it in about a year, and I've gone on to MLB 10: The Show.

It was a sad day today

Well last night my principal died in a car crash. For a principal, he was a great man and great principal. Strict but he was such a good man

He hit a tree after being on a bumpy road and died shortly after in my town

It was such a weird day, like everyones shocked and we didn't do much today. Some kids were even crying and some teachers were too

But its just so weird how he's gone though, like imagine your principal being gone. It's just a sad thing

Wow jacobye that stinks. Were you close to the principal? In fifth grade some school janitor died, I don't remember how he died. Some kids were crying, but he was the night janitor and I never even knew him.
