but i can't get over the peavy trade. I thought about him today but he's still injured
and why'd he accept being traded now when he rejected the chisox in April

The Cubs don't have the prospects to get anyone big like Peavy. At the start of the season, everyone thought he was a Cub or a Dodger (I think), and now he is a White sock? :shock:

It reminds me of how we thought that we had A-Rod and then he's a yankee
for you, you kinda thought that you had Peavy and then he goes to the white six(like 6 months later but close enough)

Roy Halladay in my opinion will join Rolen in Cincy next year. Cincy has the prospects and according to ESPN, Roy's value goes down immensely after today so Cincy would not have to give up many prospects.

If that happens Cincy is a playoff team.

But I doubt it....

During the winter meetings, it is usually the "richer" teams that get him. I believe whoever wins the world series will get him. The GM is really dumb. He could have got ALOT from Halladay, but deceided to be greedy, like the O's a few years ago. His price will drop and I see either Red Sox, depending on what happens to the pitching and if Wang returns to true form.
