I agree, A Ram is in a big slump and we couldn't score any runs for Hardens great performance last night. It's just bad. I hope they can pick it up.

My fantasy team's outfield is a walking DL. Vernon Wells and Soriano can't stay healthy and Dye is following suit.

I haven't checked my fantasy team in a while, but last I checked I had lots of guys on the DL, too.

2nd half predictions:

AL:

Cy Young: Cliff Lee, absolutely dealing
MVP: Hamilton or Yooooooooooooouk, Hamilton's got the hearts of most people but yooooouk's a hard player
ROY: Longoria, unless Jacoby starts tearing it up

NL:

Cy Young: Edison Volquez, leading in ERA and was in K's
MVP: Berkman, doing everything, getting RBI's, Homers and Average
ROY: Jay Bruce, cause I can't really think of anyone good right now

AL Postseason:

East - Red Sox, Rays don't have any September experience
Central - White Sox, things are clicking, Detroit has no bullpen (yet) and the Twins are slumping
West - Mariners, haha kidding, Angels with K-Rod
Wildcard - Rays, Yankees are getting good but they're losing key players

NL Postseason:

East - Phillies, calling a September fall of the NY Mets
Central - Brewers, with CC and Sheets with great pitching and hitting
West - Dodger, Arizona isn't doing too hot now because the offense isn't producing
Wildcard - Marlins, MLB leading in Homers, so ehh, what the heck

I really doubt that, it'll probably be Geovany Soto. I mean I like both of their teams, but there's no way Bruce will win it over Soto unless he just goes on a roll, which is very doubtful.

:o  :!:

i completely forgot about Soto, yeah he'll win in over Bruce, he's second in homers by a catcher and has been excellent this year

Yeah, and Fukudome and Votto would also win it over Bruce...other than his first week, he hasn't been that great.

Edit: Actually, if Fukudome doesn't pick it up again, Bruce would probably have a chance over him, but I think Soto will run away with it.

Pitcher's duel in San Fran tonight. Webb and Lincecum both kicked some ass (the latter struck out thirteen to set a new record for himself), and Giants had a 3-2 lead in the seventh when Lincecum left. Going into the bottom of the ninth, it's 5-3 D'backs.

Feel kinda bad for Timmy, after that outing.

Can't believe Shapiro decided to trade Casey Blake....for a 5-10 4.97 era starter in AAA and a catcher who's pretty good in A. (a catcher?! there's already Shoppach and V-Mart!)
Then they decided to trade for Anthony Reyes. What a terrible idea.

The Cubs are about to start a 4 game series against the Brewers. This could make or break us. Brewers have been looking good lately, but it seems that the last couple of games the Cubs have finally started to look like their old selves again. FINALLY!!

I'm so sick of the Braves.

What do y'all think about Manny asking to be traded?

I think it's just Manny being Manny. He's done this every year since he's been on the team. I wouldn't even bat an eye until I hear he's been traded.
