Here's my really long rant/extended thought process (tl;dr alert!).

Also, I agree with Dish. You seem to want anyone's password that seems remotely decent. Do you ever actually USE any of them?

I think we need to have a "Useless Post Patrol" or something. I know we all do it but especially the newer members seem to make useless posts and double posts more often.

Where's that welcome thread that Dish posted a long time ago? We either need to revive it or make a new one with LOTS of info. Sticky it and put it on the front page or something.

Regarding your next post, NO. The goal of this forum is to actually discuss Power Pros not raise your post count by posting something stupid like "Don't worry! Just post!" or an all-smileys post (SkittleMonster, that was justified, other than celebration...NO!)

Regarding another issue...A new moderator would be great but not necessary. DarkShade is coming by more often. However, the need for a controlling force has arisen. Someone with power who WOULDN'T abuse it would be great. Not taking sides here, but I think the best candidates for that job are dishnetkid and myself. S-jax or lanceberkman could be added into that discussion but lance hasn't visited since January and s-jax isn't exactly active either.

Just to clarify I DO NOT have anything against any of the members here. It's just that new members come in and think they know what they're doing when they haven't read anything, and end up double posting and bumping like heck when if they had just taken the time to read some of this stuff, they would be cranking out Dr. Gyrodators with original Knuckleballs in no time! (By the way, even I still read older threads from time to time, if I'm bored and there aren't any new posts to read/respond to, that's what I do!)

Ok, I though I was the only one who did that.

But as for the rant itself, I find that even as a new member, I'm well behaved. I try and post relevant stuff whenever I can, and I don't think I've ever double-posted (except on my Pirates log). Anthony seems to remind me of that one friend who will always text you simple things like LOL, Cool, K, etc. If you don't have anything useful to say, either think of something more meaningful, or don't post. Also, AgentP brings up a good point. Should I really go through all the trouble of posting his password if you're never gonna use him?

Also, know that we're not trying to being mean, we just need you to realize these things

I think the forum is fine with the new members now. AgentP, no offense or anything, but before you suggest yourself there would be a list of many more people who are more experienced. You may have 2,000+ posts, but remember, you and I only joined last summer. I don't see what was completely wrong with AnthonyP's posts. Yes he does ask for passwords for every semi-decent player, but really, who cares wether he uses them or not? It's the creator of that player's choice to post him or not. Anthony DID bump that Wes Farrell thread which was bad and maybe a couple others, but if you look back at guys like RD61 bumping topics with just a smilie, you would see that it could be worse. Lastly, stop asking for new moderators people! Darkshade has said he and Max can handle the spammers. Overall, I personally think we're fine right now as a forum.

Agent, I'm not hostile. I've used about 50% that I've asked for, since I haven't had time to enter the rest.

Okay I saw AgentP's posts in the Idea thread. So, yeah, now I know what you were talking about, Agent. Still don't think we need a new mod or anything.

I didn't say we needed a new mod (just suggested that it might help to have one around to keep us all in line), and I was just suggesting myself. I do think dish is a better candidate than myself (experience on forum > experience as leader on other wikis/forums).

Oh and SkittleMonster, I wasn't really talking about you.
