No, not really. Part of me is thinking your saying that beacause you are a Yankee fan.

Lidge has a very good slider. Lester also might have one of the best curves. Have you seen him throw it! I have never seen a curve drop that much.

My DCB in whiffleball? My Success player's KN?

Any single pitch by Christy Mathewson. He had over a dozen in his career, and, together, made every single one seem impossible to catch up with since you never had a clue which was coming.

Lidge has a fantastic slider, don't get me wrong. But is it the best slider of all time? I really doubt it, Lidge isn't THAT good of a closer, he had a fantastic career year. He's very good, but not that good. Lester has an exellent curve, but by no stretch the best of all time. Look at things in perspective (it's very hard to judge a pitch unless your the one hitting it haha, but for one pitcher to throw 95% of one pitch even as a closer, and still be successful is pretty damn good.

You look at how much Lester's Curve drops and come back to me. Not to mention he survived cancer, HE'S ONLY 24. That curve is going to get even better.

Lidge probably throws his Slider about 90% of the time.

Lester throws his curve about 50ish% of the time, plus he's a starter and can't throw the same pitch as much, while Rivera can.
