With the Yanks outfield surplus it would be reasonable to trade Hideki Matsui.
But who would take him? Any ideas?

I'm not sure about the price tag on him, but anyone that has prospects and wants to compete, the Royals or Marlins.

Seattle. They need a LF since Raul left. Furthermore. Ichiro and Matsui could communite better in Japanese lol. They could get King Felix out of the deal, nah who am i kidding?.

Nope, I'd be amazed. He's a great hitter and a DH. He's a real team player and loves playing for the Yankees. He's still very productive. He's not going to play the outfield, he's too out of practice. I mean if others get injured, maybe, but it's doubtful. So, no-one.

No, I'd trade Nady over Matsui to be honest. I don't like Nady, without him Abreu would still be on the team haha. Nady has 1 year left before he's a free agent, not that many years.
It's actually not that I dislike Nady, it's more so that I love Abreu and Matsui and I really like Damon. Same with Melky, and Gardner's growing on me. But Matsui is definetly a better player the Nady. I think your under-rating him.

I think they have to trade somebody. I mean, you're not going to have two $10 million people just platoon in the outfield (except maybe the Dodgers and Andruw Jones). I think Damon has more trade value as a leadoff hitter, but that's probably why they have him...
