First off, this is one of my friends.

Today in soccer practice he jammed my finger (I play goal) and it's one of the worst I have gotten. Does anyone have tips on treating this?

Now to express feelings, tomorrow we have a game against our all-time rivals and the last time we played them, I shut them down and we had a 0-0 tie. Now I have the jam and am not sure if I can play. If I don't we could lose (we only play them 2 times) but if I do, I may not be as effective or I may hurt it even more. What do you think I should do?


I know sometimes I was wiriting it like it was me and sometimes like it was him.

Unless you broke it, you should be able to play. Even a sprain won't be nagging you too much.

Have your friend take some practice shots on you and see if it hurst. If it does ask your coach to play D and help the goalie with your feet/head?

It's my friend not me. Well the swelling looked to got a little worse, so he hasn't ruled out that's it's broken, he can move it, and he said pretty comfortably and can almost make a closed fist.


Also, ring finger is alittle jammed too.

That's a shame mate. What school do you go to and who are you playing?

I don't hve a clue who they are playing.


He's been trying everything, epson salt in water RICE gently pulling the finger outwards....

It is, but I don't know who it is though.

what about jsut wrapping it in athletic tape? It isn't the best or quickest or miost convenient, but it works. Replace it every so often.
