Yup, Ortiz signed a 2-year deal with the Sox.

I'm pretty sure everyone who chose Ortiz's destination had him going there.

Torii Hunter is a nice pickup for Detroit. I had Hunter going to the White Sox - his son is committed to Notre Dame on a football/baseball scholarship - but Detroit makes even more sense when you combine all the factors: winner/OF need/RH bat/proximity to son. Can't believe the Angels didn't make him a qualifying offer to at least get that supplemental pick.
